Mutombo gives in to Vodafone pester campaign!

Published

on

mutombo vodafone mobGhanaian spoken word artiste/poet/lyricist, Mutombo has given in to the Vodafone pester campaign and gotten himself a Vodafone BlackBerry phone. Mutombo finally purchased a BlackBerry from Vodafone and in an interview, he mentioned that he now has unlimited access to his fans via Social Media. He also mentioned that he is able to send short clips of his works to his fans directly from his BlackBerry from Vodafone. SEE VIDEO Mutombo became the first ‘victim’ of Vodafone’s exciting new campaign when a group of placard bearing mob besieged  his house as early as 6am to persuade him to buy a BlackBerry phone. With Placards that had a picture of Mutombo with the inscription ‘Mutombo get a BlackBerry from Vodafone, life is for connecting’, the mob also chanted – ‘Mutombo get a BlackBerry from Vodafone!’ The Vodafone BlackBerry campaign is a fun and annoying way that Vodafone is encouraging BlackBerry customers to recommend the service to their family and friends, so they can share the superior experience of BlackBerry service from Vodafone. A twist to this unique campaign is the ‘Recommend a Friend’’ bit. All customers have to do is  to just get a blackberry from Vodafone, recommend a friend by filling a form at any Vodafone Shops, and then Vodafone will  use a series of activities to compel the recommended friend to also get a BlackBerry from Vodafone .
