I’m not gay- Kwabena Kwabena reacts following his painted nails episode
A couple of months ago, Ghanaian high-life musician Kwabena Kwabena’s sexuality was questioned by social media users after he posted a photo of himself with painted toe nails.
Reacting to the remarks in a recent interview on Hitz FM, the “Adult Music” singer stated that he was shocked that people were questioning his sexuality based on a photo.
“People are really talking about my sexuality from a photo? Wow! We have a long way to go,” he said.
He added; ” For any human being who makes judgement based on a photo, know what the person does in the bedroom, then that person is supernatural human being and is hit not wise. I am sorry.”
Explaining why he decided to get his toenails painted at the time, Kwabena Kwabena explained that he had grown a bad habit of chewing on his nails and painting them helped him stop.
“Painting my nails is basically my freedom, my liberation, it is just for myself. I woke up one morning and decided to paint my nails. I had the habit of chewing my nails. Painting my nails has helped me in controlling that,” he explained.
Kwabena Kwabena is currently promoting his new single “Kwadede” off his upcoming sixth studio album dubbed ‘Fa Me Saa.’
