Aya RamzyB Beats Fameye, Keche, DopeNation, Ayesem To Win Artiste Of The Year At The WMAs

Bismark Amoako, better known in the entertainment industry as Aya RamzyB has been crowned the Artist of the Year at this year’s Western Music Awards sponsored by 610Music.

The well-celebrated rapper, singer, songwriter, composer, performer and entrepreneur beat stiff competition from notable musicians such as Fameye, Ayesem, DopeNation and Keche to win the coveted and ultimate award.

Aya’s popular hit song titled ‘Jawuley’ featuring Lynx Entertainment signee Lennon also won him the Hiplife song and most popular regional song of the year award respectively.

He also walked away with the Hiplife Artist of the Year award.

Be that as it may, Aya bagged four nominations and has won all hence making him the first and only musician/nominee to set a record of winning every category nominated for in the history of the Western Music Awards.

In additon, accepting his awards on the night, Aya thanked the media, his management, fans, promoters, bloggers, DJs, Primac, and all and sundry for supporting and contributing to his win.

Meanwhile, The award-winning musician has hinted of releasing a new banger featuring renowned Ghanaian music duo Keche on Friday, September 2nd, 2022.

Aya has loads of amazing songs to his credit including Boys p3 Cho, Wossop ft. Kelvyn Boy, Abrabo ft. Afezy Perry, Brother Man ft. Qwesi Flex, Adom ft. Kwaku Bany, Holy Ghost ft Expo, among others.

The 2022 Western Music Awards show came off last Saturday, August 20th at the Best Plus Atlantic Hotel in Takoradi, and it saw deserving artists being duly rewarded for their hard work and crafts.

The 6th edition of the event also saw performances from legendary ShaSha Marley, Mrs. Amy Newman, Aka Blay, Shasha Marley, Keche, Qwesi Flex, Afezi Perry, Naana Blu, Kweysi Swat, KDM, Neff Gee, Bobo Dada Bee and many more.

The 610Music Western Music Awards which is organized annually to honor Artistes and other creative arts participants having ties to the Western Region also honoured Mrs. Amy Newman and Shasha Marley with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Aya RamzyB is currently on a ‘Thank You’ tour across all the media houses in the Western and Western North region.
