The year long search comes to a climax on Wednesday, December 29 as 14 talented contestants from different senior high schools use their voice to battle it out for the title at the Musicmania finale at the National Theatre.

Musicmania has captured the hearts of the youth as it is the only well organized singing competition among senior high schools. The event is under the theme “Promoting National Peace and Unity through Music”. Being the first of its kind, the search team toured Ghana for raw singing talents to groom them into professionals. Officials of Musicmania have disclosed that preparations are far advanced as they intend to give their audience a good treat. They added that the contestants are going through a series of voice training and stage performances in order to match quality standards and make history as well.

The 14 contestants include Christopher Brown (Presec- Legon), Augustine “drilix” Bukari(Pope John), Esther Ntiador (Ola girls), Fafa Esi(Ola girls), Mahalia Bamford (Winneba sen high),Jessica Sugri Ali (Holy Child), Kwaku Acheampong (St John’s Grammar), Yaw Addo Larbi (Ghana National). The rest are Marigold Jabulo (Holy Child), Nathaniel Addae (Ofori Panin), Ruth Dodoo (St Margaret Mary ), Tilly (Okuapeman) and Kofi “tom tom” Boateng(Pope John). The race is on and fans are busily deciding on what to wear and who to go with.

The night promises to be exciting as exclusive star performances are to be delivered by fresh rapper D-Cryme, Fritz, Hottest lady Bino, West Side, Bra Kevin Beats, Ghana’s new singing sensation Anajo Black, Nelson,Nu Africa Boys and sexy Eazzy. Music mania is an event of a life time that one can’t afford to miss. This event is powered by Fountain House Ghana.
