African Descent Employees of a US Major Airline to speak at the 2nd Edition of Young Aviators Forum on 15th May in Accra , Ghana

United Airlines, a major American Airline headquartered at Willis Tower in Chicago, Illinois operates a domestic and International route network spanning cities large and small across United States and all six continents. The airline will on 15th May,2021 relaunch it’s routes to Accra,Ghana. This forms part of the airlines route expansion to African Countries.

As part of this historical moment, Young Aviators Ghana,an Aviation Youth Group or Organization will host Guests Speakers from the US based Major Airline, United Airlines who are employees of African Descent and as part of  Supporting the next Generation Aviation Professionals from Developing Countries especially in Africa. Ghana will be the 3rd African Country to benefit from this initiative by  this group of employees of African Descent at United Airlines.

The Founding President &CEO of Young Aviators Ghana,Mr. Seth Konadu Awuah who is the convener/Host of the Forum has disclosed the Program is scheduled to take place on 15th May,2021 at Miklin Hotel,East Legon in Accra from 12pm-5pm and will bring all stakeholders in Ghanas Aviation Industry including Government, Airlines,Air Travel Operators, Students, Aviation Training Organisations, Colleges and Universities to discuss the theme : Stem Education, Supporting The Next Generation Aviation Professionals from Developing Countries,Now and Beyond The Pandemic.

It will be a high level Networking event with the overall goal of inspiring the Next Generation Aviation Professionals from Developing Countries and to challenge them to live up to their dreams. It is a budding platform for Harnessing Ghanaian Youth in Aviation Development. Confirmed speakers of the Airline include Pilots Jean olivier  Mbog and Anthony McGee (First Officers), Khady Gaye (Corporate Human Resource), Djibril Gueye (Maintenance Engineer), Rahel Gebreegziabher (Flight Attendant).
