dj black ghanaAfter a successful first event last Thursday, June 30 Ghana’s most celebrated Disc Jockey, DJ Black says he can’t wait to do it all over again in December when the ‘Social Network Jam’ returns with the ‘Reloaded’ edition.

DJ Black and friends set the Dome of the Accra International Conference Center ablaze with the ultimate pre- Republic Day party as the over 5000 seating capacity Dome was transferred into a night club resonating with the best music from all over the world. It was also an opportunity for ‘young Ghana’ to connect off social networks like Facebook, Twitter etc, and meet in the flesh for a variety of networking possibilities. Through social networking, business deals have been brokered; people have found their marriage partners; and people have been able to connect with lost friends and family. The power of networking is great and the Social Network Jam hopes to take it a notch further by creating a physical meeting point and a fun environment to socialize.

The indefatigable DJ Black comments, “We had a blast even thought the numbers was not too impressive. It however showed the power of the internet and height of social networking in Ghana. The event brought together people from all walks of life with an opportunity to socialize on all levels. Preparations are on for the ‘Reloaded’ edition in December. So if you missed out on the first one, don’t miss out on the next!”
