Yes, I know I have bombarded my followers on social media with a lot of pictures and activities from Barcelona in the past week, but wait there is more. I was in Spain primarily for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S5 phone during the Mobile World Congress. And yes, I can’t wait to get myself an S5 when it comes out in April for it new additions including the much-needed ultra battery saver that allows your device into a standby mode for hours for bare essentials such as phone calls, sms and emails. Hmm don’t we  all need that?

Although I kept saying Barcelona this, Barcelona that I actually stayed  some 45 minutes outside Barcelona. I was in Martorell (Martorell is a municipality that forms part of the Baix Llobregat comarca, in Catalonia, Spain, primarily known for its medieval Devil’s bridge. It lies at the confluence of the Llobregat and Anoia rivers. hehe thanks to wikipedia). Anyway it cost 90-95 euros from our hotel to Barcelona on a metred cab and after doing the conversion into Ghana cedis the first time we went into Barcelona, I and me colleagues decided that perhaps that was sign for us to just stay in our hotel and work or rest. So we did that most of the time.

Of course it was not all work and rest while we stayed in the hotel…we had time for one of my favourite activities – eating. Haha. With waiters that barely spoke any English,  I had to use my imagination as much as possible when it came to making an order for food. Well, I must say I hit it right most of the time.
