New Nigerian music group, I.C.E consists of three unique artists namely Sam, Clem and Ernest, who are set to leave their imprint on the ever growing Nigerian music scene. Before releasing their EP titled ‘Oyokoyo’ in a few weeks, they are giving music fans a chance to listen to their music online and already their title track, ‘Oyokoyo’ and ‘I’m in Love’ seem to be making some waves.

I.C.E was established in 2001 by all three and came by the name I.C.E. using the initials of their names: Ogunleye Samuel Idowu a.k.a Sam, Okpala Clement a.k.a Clems, and Okpala Ernest. The group started as a five man crew with the name St. Muzik and they were later reduced to three as the other two members left to pursue a different dream. They recorded their first single ‘Dirty Dancing’ in 2006 after which they decided to take a break to concentrate on their education. A reunion took place in 2010 and the new name I.C.E was birthed.

They are currently recording their debut album. Their new singles titled ‘I’m in Love’ feat. HighBee and ‘Oyokoyo’ are produced by veteran producer Joey Plus who is responsible for Dampte’s ‘Go Get-Her’ hit and so many more.

‘I’m in love’ is a track with a European tinge to it and takes on the subject of interest in a lady, just like the second single, Oyokoyo.
