Rapper Joey B has revealed that not only has he been signed for some endorsement deals but also gotten booked for lots of shows because of the G.O.A.T (greatest of all time) tag his fans have given him.

“In the past three weeks I have signed like three major deals, yeah they think I’m a marketing genius but I’m actually not, I’m just doing me,” he said in an interview on Daybreak Hitz, on Hitz FM, Thursday.

The ‘Stables’ hitmaker said that he was extremely shocked and surprised when fans began to randomly send him goat photos while calling him the G.O.A.T.

According to Joey B, the tag began when some fans inferred he had called himself goat in one of his songs.

However, he told Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz, Thursday, his fans made the wrong assumption explaining goat used in the song was part of a line he was using to propose to a lady.

“…do you like ‘yemadeԐ’ (intestines), I’m the goat,” he had said in the song. Joey B stated that “I’ve never called myself G.O.A.T.”

To honor his fans for their contributions, Joey B went for the 4Syte Music Video Awards with a goat mask on his head.

According to him, social media has played a major role in bridging the gap between himself and his fans which, he added, has helped signed these deals.

Joey B stated that he realized he was lagging behind when other artistes were using social media to push their works.

“So I decided to tweet more, use social media more, do a few photoshoots, post them and see what happens. Since then I’ve been having shows, canceling some because there are other shows, signing deals and stuff like that,” he told Andy Dosty.

Joey B is holding a concert dubbed ‘Darryl and Friends’ for his fans on Saturday, November 23.
