#VGMA20: Empress Gifty and husband arrive on the red carpet.

Gospel Singer Empress Gifty Adorye says she is working intensively to win a BET award soon.In an interview with Nana Romeo on Accra 100FM’s, she said “I will do my best to be on the red carpet of BET and take part. This is not about standing on the Red carpet alone but also be announced as winner”.

Empress Gifty is hoping to be the first Ghanaian gospel musician to be nominated at the BET awards.

She further express discontent on the rate at which Ghanaian musicians have to pay DJs and presenters payola before their songs are aired on TV and Radio. she describes the act as being disturbing and a challenge to musicians in Ghana.
