Okomfour Kwadee’s family seek financial assistance for treatment of musician’s mental challenges

Ezekiel Aguyire, a relative of embattled Ghanaian hiplife musician Jerry Anaba, popularly known as Okomfour Kwadee,  is seeking for financial assistance for treatment of musician’s mental challenges.

Speaking in an interview with Joy FM’ Kwame Dadzie, Ezekiel revealed that Kwadee is currently in their hometown, Mirigu Nabango in the Upper East Region, struggling with mental health issues.

“He is not feeling well. But now he is a little better. We need the help of Ghanaians for our brother now. He is not supposed to be here but because of the sickness (he had to leave Kumasi)” Ezekiel detailed.
Ezekiel further highlighted the family’s financial struggles in securing necessary medical treatments for Kwadee. “Even if you find the solution without money, you can’t do anything,” he noted, emphasizing the critical need for financial assistance.

Recently, a video surfaced online showing Kwadee performing in a frail and unkempt state, raising concerns about his well-being.

Ezekiel expressed his displeasure about the video, stating, “A week ago, he went to do a show, they videoed him and took it to social media. That day I was not around but I came back and heard everything. I did not feel fine about it.”

He also clarified that the performance was organized by a family member from another town, and he believes no payment was made for Kwadee’s appearance.

The family continues to seek public support and suggestions to ensure Kwadee receives the proper treatment he needs.
