Mimi ShayoAlthough former Ghanaian rep to Big Brother Africa, Wilhemina Abu Andani alias Mimi wasn’t chosen to represent Ghana in the ongoing Big Brother All Stars edition of the hit reality TV series, she is causing a stir on the show in a different way.

The Big Brother Africa All Stars has seen a lot of changes from the previous editions, as the TV show has been improved to entertain the viewers and the housemates even more. This season has seen a wider selection of music from across Africa played on the show for the relaxation and enjoyment of housemates and viewers alike.  Viewers have also been given the opportunity to request and download these tunes. Some of the artists featured include D’Banj, Naeto C, D-Black, Kweku T, Mimi, Gal level, Jozi, Buffalo Soldier, Nameless and others.

From sources, it appears that for the past 2 months, ‘Shayo’ by former housemate Mimi leads the pack as the most requested and most downloaded single in the house.  The source also indicated that the various artists have signed contracts for the use of their music for the Big Brother show and royalties are paid accordingly.
