Swift Hoops Is Here To Give Tertiary Basketball A Different Dimension
Basketball competitions among tertiary institutions are fiercely contested with rights at stake. But for the newly created SWIFT Hoops Tournament, which gives a fresh angle to 3-on-3 basketball, bragging rights isn’t the only thing at stake. There are also amazing prizes to be won as well. During this journey, there is also the exciting SWIFT Moment which includes a Slam Dunk competition where audience witness amazing and exhilarating dunks. There is also the moment where the audience are challenged to a free throw shoot out to stand for a chance to win cash prizes and medals. This happened last semester when, SWIFTHoops went on a triangular trip to the University of Ghana, Legon, through to UCC and crowned it all at KNUST. Come 17th August at the Aviation Social Centre in Accra, SWIFTHoops will see 16 teams competing for the grand prize of a trophy, GHs4,000, beats wireless earphones and medals, while the 2nd placed team takes home GHs2,000, beats wireless and medals.
