New wave rapper, Kofi Jamar has had a very rocky start to becoming the superstar that he is.

Just like the start-up stories of many successful people around the world, the “Ekorso” singer has not had it easy.

In a yet to be aired episode of the Delay Show, Kofi Jamar reveals that before his music became popular, he used to work as a pallbearer.

“I worked as a pallbearer. I carried dead bodies. From there I worked as a security at Golden Tulip. I worked at the gate as an usher, checking cars before they enter the premises. I earned as little as 500 cedis a month,” Jamar told Delay.
