Veteran Nollywood actress Stella Ikwuegbu is dead

The Nollywood film industry is currently mourning the loss of veteran actress Stella Ikwuegbu, who sadly passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2024, following a courageous fight against leg cancer.

The heartbreaking news was shared by renowned movie producer Stanley Nwoko, popularly known as Stanley Ontop, through his Instagram account.

In a post spotted by Ameyaw Debrah Media, it was stated: “Nollywood has lost a gem in the person of Mrs. Stella Ikwuegbu. The seasoned actress departed from this world today after a long battle with leg cancer. May you rest in peace, Madam Stella. Nollywood mourns once again. All will be well.”

Stella’s demise occurred just a mere five days after the demise of veteran Yoruba actor Dayo Adewunmi, also recognized as Sule Suebebe, who passed away at the age of 68.
