Ghanaian actor Lil Win, under his management, Wezzy Empire, has issued an apology regarding their previous press release, which faced criticism for its handling of the recent accident victims.

The statement announced the postponement of the movie premiere for “A Country Called Ghana,” initially set for June 1, 2024, in Sunyani. This decision respects the memory of the three-year-old boy, Nana Yaw, who tragically lost his life in an accident involving Lil Win. The management extended sincere condolences to the bereaved family and wished a speedy recovery to the boy’s father, Mr. Jacob Kofi Amponsah.

Acknowledging that their prior communication may have seemed insensitive, Wezzy Empire apologized for any distress caused. They stressed that Lil Win and their artist manager, Ray Moni, are still receiving treatment at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.
